第一次去纽约,是在某一个春假。疯狂赶完作业后和朋友奔赴旅途,一上飞机便沉沉睡去。不知道过了多久我才睁开眼,身边的朋友正塞着耳机看着窗外,看我醒来,她递一只过来给我,里面正在放Empire State of Mind。

这时广播最后一遍响,“Attention please, we are landing in Newark International Airport now,please fasten your seat belt…”
到达纽约的第一晚,在暮色降临的时候,我们便去了帝国大厦,那个历史上最著名的大猩猩坠落的地方。
尽管已经三月,纽约依然寒冷,凛冽的风直往脖子里钻。两个从温暖南方小镇来的人,站在帝国大厦顶端的栅栏后面,冷得直跺脚。
眼前却没有任何令人欣喜的景色,血色的夕阳笼罩着整座城市,除了川流不息的车辆还在印证着这里的活力,剩下什么也没有。
然而,当太阳彻底落下,最后一点夕阳也消失的时候,奇迹开始了。一瞬间,这座城市的点点灯火在黑夜中闪耀起来。纽约璀璨的夜景扑面而来,高大的建筑此起彼伏,整个城市像浮沉在深海中的星空,无数次出现在梦里的画面终于摆在了眼前。“Concrete jungle where dreams are made of”原来就是这样的景象。
